Templates that travel with you
Build your own record types or discover reviewed designs in the Community Template Library.
Bulk-paste account recovery codes, choose whether to remove detected line numbering, copy codes while concealed, mark each code Used and see the unused count. Store provider-issued app-specific passwords with their account, application and revocation details.
Start with insurance policies, warranties and subscriptions. Country labels help you choose local terminology and currencies. The library defaults to your country plus International, with other countries and All countries always available.
Keep reusable designs in My Templates, then install a separate copy in each vault. The vault keeps the templates its records use. Make My Own Copy creates an independent design you can adapt and label for another country.
Template files (.qvt) share sections, field definitions and layout, without saved records or attachments. Preview imports before adding them. Review labels, hints and choices for private details before submitting a design for community moderation.
Need your saved information too? Use a vault backup or record export. A template download contains the design of a form, not the contents of your vault. Custom template use is subject to your edition’s allowances.
Create paid unlock custom record types, copy protected built-in templates, add sections and field blocks, and use repeating rows for list-style data such as service history, medication schedules, or checklists.
Keep separate Personal, Work or client vaults, move selected records between them, and keep compatible vaults unlocked together during the same session. Open current .qdv files or legacy .lkv files directly from Finder.
Add, rename, colour, hide and drag categories into the order that makes sense to you.
Enable built-in systems, add custom entries and select defaults for every new record.
Keep purchase, expiry, renewal, reorder and support dates visible alongside attached information.
Click a concealed value or its copy icon to copy without revealing it. Use the eye icon to reveal or hide; a brief Copied confirmation tells you it worked.
Correct an older or misclassified record without starting again. Review suggested field matches, drag fields or choose sources from menus, then preview a single-record conversion. Unmapped values stay in Additional Fields; save the draft to commit or undo the conversion first.
Record search is ready after launch or unlock on Mac. Clear a query with the × and keep typing. Touch devices open the keyboard when you tap search.
Import Mac application details and PNG artwork, find missing icons, or store artwork in a local or iCloud Icons folder. Recognised operating systems use consistent platform and device icons throughout the app.

Use an app password and, where supported by your edition, biometrics, iCloud and multiple encryption levels. Any paid edition can add Maximum Encryption separately.
Keep frequently used records close, move unwanted records to Trash from selection mode or a context menu, and recover from accidental removal before permanently deleting anything.
If the expected vault cannot be unlocked or found, QueVault offers a vault picker plus options to refresh iCloud, locate a vault file, or create a new vault instead of leaving you trapped at the unlock screen.
