QueVault

Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective 18 June 2026

QueVault is designed primarily for local, user-controlled storage. It does not require an account with the developer.

1. Information You Choose to Store

Vaults may contain product and vendor names, license keys, usernames, passwords, registered email addresses, purchase and order information, prices, notes, tags, dates, app images, custom templates, record files, and attachments. This content is entered or imported by you and may include personal or confidential information.

2. App Settings and Operational Data

The app stores preferences and operational information such as selected vaults, categories, display choices, notification settings, backup locations, acceptance of legal documents, and dates of backups or notifications. Password verification data may be stored on the device. Where biometric vault unlock is enabled, the relevant password is stored using Apple's Keychain and protected by device authentication.

3. Where Information Is Stored

By default, vault and preference data is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, vault files are placed in your personal iCloud Drive container. If you select a backup folder or export location, copies are written there. Those locations may themselves be synchronised or backed up by services you control.

4. How Information Is Used

Information is processed to provide the features you request, including creating and displaying vaults, searching records, encrypting or unlocking vaults, importing and exporting data, backups, selecting app images, and important-date notifications.

5. Developer Collection

The current app does not transmit vault contents to a developer-operated account or server and does not include developer-operated advertising or analytics. The developer cannot read locally stored or encrypted vault contents merely because you use the app.

6. Apple Services

When you use iCloud, notifications, biometric or device authentication, app distribution, or operating-system file pickers, Apple may process data under its own terms and privacy policy. QueVault receives only the results and access needed for the requested feature.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

The app does not sell your personal information. Information is disclosed when you direct the app to export, share, back up or synchronise it, when your storage provider copies it according to your settings, or where disclosure is legally required.

8. Encryption and Security

Encrypted vaults use password-based encryption provided by the app. Unencrypted vaults, exports and some backups may be readable by anyone who gains access. Keep devices updated, use strong vault passwords and secure backup locations.

9. Retention and Deletion

Vault information remains until you edit or delete it, delete the vault, reset the app, remove relevant files, or a storage provider removes it. Independent backups, exports, iCloud versions and copies on another device must be managed separately.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can choose local or iCloud storage, control notifications and biometric access, export records, delete records or vaults, and reset the app. Applicable privacy law may provide additional rights. Vault content is generally controlled directly by you rather than held on a developer server.

11. International Processing

If you use iCloud or another synchronised location, your provider may process information outside your country under its own arrangements and your account choices.

12. Children's Privacy

QueVault is not intended for children and the developer does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when features, storage methods, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised and fresh acceptance may be requested for material changes.

14. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the QueVault support form. Do not send license keys, vault passwords or unencrypted vault exports.
